Screen shot of the new Archbishop on BBC News
Absolutely delighted to hear +Sarah Mullally is to be the new Archbishop of Canterbury. She brings much wisdom & experience to the role.
For those of us who are ordained women in the CofE this is such an encouragement, and I don't mind sharing that I shed a tear on hearing the news.

This is so dangerous. It's absolute BS, we all know people who are ND who are older. Maybe they weren't diagnosed because then they were kids there wasn't the same availability/ understanding. Women are going to get berated for taking paracetamol & kids told they will be "normal" if they take a pill

Several people have sent me this today. A new report into how some Christian organisations are engaging with climate change and ecotheology. Long, but well worth a read. Lots we can learn from/ take on board/ put into practice.

Me behind the altar, arms out as I preside at Communion. Behind me a progressive Pride flag hangs on the wall. I am wearing a white stole with rainbow flags on it.

Portrait view of a pond with shrubs in the background. Over the water a swallow flies, leaving a pattern on the water where it has just drunk.

Watching the swallows drink on the wing from this south downs dew pond early morning on this summer solstice, perfect start to the day.
