Very good session of the LGA Safer Communities Board yesterday. On resilience, I pushed for a recognition that ‘climate emergency’ and ‘emergency planning’ are becoming one and the same. Also had good sessions with the food standards agency.

It was fantastic to join the Friends of Wrythe Rec for their monthly litter pick in the park last weekend! The Rec now has new inclusive play equipment, a new noticeboard and bulbs.
Every park in Carshalton Central has inclusive play equipment and a friends group to help look after our parks.
Today on Trans Day of Remembrance we remember those who have lost their lives to transphobic violence, and reflect on how we as a society can end this loss of life.
Liberal Democrats will always stand up for the rights of everyone in the LGBT+ community.
Had a fantastic time on a panel at London Lib Dem conference this afternoon talking about the council house building Sutton Lib Dems are doing! It was great to be on a panel alongside colleagues from Kingston and Richmond.
