Image shows Sian Berry stood to the left of campaigner Rosamund Adoo-Kissi-Debrah, and surrounded by a group of clean air campaigners. All of them are smiling and holding a copy of Ella's Law - the Clean Air (Human Rights Bill).
Image shows Rosamund Adoo-Kiss-Debrah sat next to Sian with a copy of Ella's Law on the table in front of them. They are both reading the Bill that is named in memory of Rosamund's daughter Ella who died aged nine due to exposure to air pollution.
Ellaβs Law has been published π
No child should have the growth of their lungs stunted because of dirty air where they live and play, yet this is the reality of air pollution in England. Ellaβs Law would change this.
My thanks to Rosamund and all the hard-working campaigners demanding change.

I'm dismayed by rumours govt may scrap the windfall tax on oil and gas giants
With energy bills still driving cost of living pressures, it's senseless to cut taxes for highly profitable polluters, who already receive Β£2.7bn per year in tax breaks

"A #Labour government that lived up to its name would be working day and night to tackle this inequality."
Why did @traffordlabour.bsky.social not even attempt to respond to @greenparty.org.uk criticisms? No one from Labour defended their own government!
Interesting negative voting intention data - Reform +9% in *un*popularity.
03.03.2026 20:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A Guardian graphic showing a change in European gas prices between 7 December and 1 March. The title reads "European gas prices have surged in response to the Iran conflict". The subtitle reads "Netherlands day-ahead contract, β¬ per megawatt-hour". A red line on the graph steadily rises, peaking at just over 40 at the end of January, then falling again throughout February. The line steeply increases to over 44 on 1 March.
Todayβs Spring Statement comes at the same time as skyrocketing oil and gas prices, following Trumpβs strikes on Iran. Meanwhile, unemployment is forecast to climb to 5.3%.
There is something the UK Government could do that would help...
Turns out lowering bills, protecting the NHS and rebuilding our public services is really popular.
This is just the beginning - people are seeing through the attacks and demanding something better.
And we're making hope normal again - together.

Confused about Green Party drug policy? Here's a good overview.
Asusual, Greens are leading on the way, having the difficult conversations and proposing serious policies that will save people's lives and reduce crime.
Green Party drugs policy isn't about being soft on drugs. It's about being smart on drugs.
Take the market out of criminal hands. Make drug use safer when it happens. Get people help when they need it. Focus police on the traffickers causing real harm.
WE NEED YOU Thanks to you, hope won. But we're not stopping here! Thanks to you, hope won in Manchester! Letβs do the same in Leeds! You can smell the Labour Governments panic.
They're trying their hardest to discredit the new poll because it tells everyone that the alternative has well and truly arrived.
Gorton & Denton is the Green Party Vs Reform.
Playgrounds would become crack dens if greens were in power policing minister says.
Drug deaths have risen every year for 13 years.
Thatβs 13 years of a failed βwar on drugsβ.
Labour should be looking at legalisation, control and regulation - not playing politics with peopleβs lives.
This is a public health crisis. Treat it like one. Not a game.
Greens call on Labour government: Trafford needs grant to tackle funding crisis
Trafford is in financial crisis & we are concerned about the impact on residents. The council has asked government for a Β£20m loan. They have permission to increase council tax to 7.49%. Greens are pushing for Labour to instead seek funding. We need a grant to get us through the next 3 years.
