Rarely do my Lists demonstrate the huge benefits of this Labour Government more than this one. Such improvements, based on facts and evidence cannot be disputed.

I congratulate our Government.

An 8% drop in national food bank use under the Labour government.

I’d put some of this down to free childcare, some to uplift in min wage & pensions, some to breakfast clubs and some to reducing interest rates/inflation.

This deserves massive applause. 👏👏👏

If you are one of the people criticising the decision that 'nature' will be the theme of our new banknotes, please note:

You are not criticising the government, nor Labour, nor the Chancellor, nor the Bank of England.

You are criticising the public, who chose 'nature' above all other options.

Who needs Churchill or a bloody beaver on a crisp £5 note?😤
I have been designing some alternatives which I think you’ll agree are infinitely more superior. 👍

An interesting insight into Keir Starmer by Michel Barnier, Chief Brexit negotiator for the EU. Written in his book, several years ago. It looks like the UK has got the right man as Prime Minister. Bravo!. 👍👏

Labour MPs just voted to expand free school meals to half a million more children, lifting 100,000 children out of poverty.

The Tories and Reform UK voted against.

Only Labour will give children growing up in our country the best start in life.

There are moments in history that may seem insignificant at the time but a British PM standing up to an American president is going to be one of those moments that historians will write about long into the future.

🚨 Rachel Reeves rightly points out the damage Brexit has done to our economy:

Wes Streeting: "Ashley (Dalton) has been an outstanding minister and has been so in the face of extraordinary adversity.

She has achieved more as a minister than many politicians achieve in their entire careers.

I’m so sorry to lose her from our team, but proud of her decision and her impact."

Wow! Excellent speech from Rachel Reeves in her Spring Statement just now.

Worth listening to it all - only about 25 minutes.

I'll share what I can below.

I would like to take a moment to thank @ashleydaltonmp.bsky.social for her work as a health minister, including her work on the National Cancer Plan.

She has stood down as a minister today to focus on her own cancer treatment, but will remain an MP.

Two hours since the PM got to his feet to make the statement on the Middle East and he's still there answering questions from MPs.

Great job SKS!

A brilliant initiative. Like much of Labour's work drowned out by other events.

One of the first priorities of this Labour government was to make people safer and more secure at work.

Today Reform are revealing their true colours, they'll roll back our rights, reinstate fire and rehire and give bad bosses the freedom to behave as they want.

Just a reminder MoneySavingExpert does not cold call. If someone knocks at your door (or calls you) claiming to be from us or sent by me, to switch your energy or owt else, it is not true, be careful.

Starmer hasn't devoted his life to accumulating wealth as did Sunak; isn't reckless which was Truss's trademark; not corrupt in contrast to Johnson; won a parliamentary majority whereas May lost one; and is rebuilding relations with Europe not gambling them away Cameron-style.

Absolutely insane story about a middle-aged woman from Hertfordshire who got arrested, shackled, and detained by ICE and held in a prison for eight weeks.... while on holiday... with a valid tourist visa... as she tried to leave the country.
