Fascinating! I wonder if it's simply a function of the young median age (26 in the CAB arm) thus reflecting a population who have yet to reach peak bone mass hence increase in CAB arm? Not sure anyone has fully explained the TDF effect - low grade phosphate loss? Direct effect on clasts/blasts?

We are at an absolutely critical point in the HIV response which is why the @iasociety.bsky.social conference in Kigali so so very important. And when LISTENING is more important than ever, the live translation feature for the main sessions is particularly welcome....well done IAS #IAS2025

One observation from me during the hot new #HIV therapies session at #CROI2025. Others have been posting abt the data showing options for LA CAB/bNAb, ISL/DOR, and CAB/RPV in Africa but my hot take is:
Look at the impressive % of women in these trials!

58% in CARES
21 & 40% in the ISL/DOR studies

I've not seen the 'LTZ' abbreviation before, thank you!
