You could actually structure your moral code around the idea that law enforcement doesn't exist to execute people. You don't have to create perfect victim narratives, you can just refuse to accept that the state gets to kill people.

ICE recruit through the promise of living out festering violent fantasies of hurting other people with total impunity. ICE, its agents, its leadership, and enablers view accountability as weakness. This is not an agency that can ever be reformed or "better trained" to justify its continued existence

they're executing moms and nurses in the street. they're using preschoolers as bait. they're stealing people's dads and grandmas and children. they're tear gassing babies. they're staking out schools. there is no remedy but abolition. any proposal that doesn't start there is an act of violence.
