In today's episode of "the public has lost their minds," my trip to get blood work today involved watching a grown-ass man throw a bag his poop at the phlebotomist and a lady get trapped in her Tesla while her car alarm went off over and over again (alarm was Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor).

Omg my apologies. Your grandmother sounds like mine, she hung on, and on, and on. Even though she had said she was ready to go. It’s such a tough liminal space for everyone.
We sat with my wife’s father for two days, finally at the nurse’s urging left to get dinner for an hour. He died five minutes before we returned.

I say this with no snark - have you all tried leaving the room? I went through hospice with my mom, grandparents, and wife’s father, and one thing I picked up from a lot of the hospice workers is that some people prefer to die away from their families to spare them that experience….
It kept me up all night but it did mostly knock out the migraine, when normally they last 2-3 days? I’d say I’m at 70% so I’ll take it again and strap in lol
