there's a certain personality that's very debilitating in modern life. 100 years ago, if you wanted to buy something, you'd go to five local shops and decide. now with the internet, you need to spend 1,000 hours so you can own the best version in the world like you're some venetian patrician

I saw two movies today! TWO! Zootopia 2 (thanks, daddy Disney) - excellent, I cried - and Rental Family - incredible, I cried.

Go see both! But truly, Rental Family is beautiful. I cannot recommend it enough. Plus: lovely to watch not even a month after returning from Japan. 🥰🥰🥰

Of course there’s also those that genuinely believe in an afterlife. But I remember one time when I was like 25 telling my mom how scared I was of this and she does “I’m scared of living forever.” And I was all “great now I’m scared of BOTH options!”

Alex, I too have this fear this strongly. No one I ever talk to ever seems to!! Seems crazy that we’re not all freaking out all the time! 😂
