PC/Server pricing is just unbelievable, I paid $350 for this memory kit 11 days ago (11/07/2025). Now it's almost $800 and prices are continuing to going up.

I bought some ECC DDR4 for the home lab Feb/March 2025, $380 for 512gb. Now just 128gb ECC DDR4 is $370 dollars.

9950X3D - Asus 5080 Astra
9800X3D - Nvidia 4070 Super
7800X3D - Intel Arc B850.

Only the 9950/5080 is a full size ATX build the other two are mini itx. Even managed to fit water coolers in the mini itx cases.

Last refresh for a long time. Realistically until AM6 and post AI bubble.
Ive got a 9950X3D, 9800X3D and 7800X3D based rigs. I can’t imagine anything on AM5 fast enough to warrant replacing the 9950/9800X3D.

Now GPUs are different story, but I’m solid on those at the moment as well

My copy of Concord and Google Stadia came in today. Wow I don’t know what one I’ll play first.
So exciting. I bet 2026 is year of Stadia and Concord!

Work great for virtualization. I have a Beelink with a lesser Ryzen cpu running Proxmox.
It does great, mine runs a Domain Controller, OPNSense HA, etc.
only limitations are going to be ram. These are LPDDR5 that’s adjacent to the die. Similar to the Mac. Super fast but no upgrade path.

I like the sticker over the dual 2.5g lan ports. Basically saying yeah install Windows 11 unplugged due to Microsoft’s bullshit.

I’ve been into mini pcs and picked up this little one. GMKtec Evo-X1 Mini PC AMD Ryzen AI 370. Packs a Radeon 890m.
Still disappointed I missed the amazing Apple M4 MacMini deal, but that sold out like it was a Final Fantasy x Magic the Gathering drop.

Tried aura farming the Death Stranding 2 Platinum.

It just keeps getting worse and worse.

Still sealed booster boxes I should say. No way I’d buy a non sealed box. Too risky.

Japanese boosters are roughly <$150 with with current exchange which is pretty cheap because…

A golden ticket-esque frenzy for a promo card “Witch’s Foresight (Force of Negation)”. Limited to 2k copies, selling for $2,000 on tcgplayer, etc. Boxes are bought just for the promo and the rest sold.

I have over indulged but it’s been fun. I’ve paid MSRP for all boosters, commander packs etc. I got 4 booster boxes for the pre-tariff $144.99 price.

The prerelease boxes and individual cards were market price when ordered.

Seriously can’t believe I got sucked into Magic in my 40s.

My love of collection NTSC/U and NTSC/J has spilled over into this as well.

Just can’t stop pulling Vivi. This is my third one.

Amazing moogs

Not only did MTGxFinalFantasy get me into Magic. I’ve been getting the Japanese cards.
I’ve also been organizing all my cards. In sets of fifty, organized in common, uncommon etc.

Almost a full collection of Cid’s, just missing the Final Fantasy XIV Cid alternate card.

Got my gigantic bulk card cases setup.
One for #MTGxFinalFantasy one for #FinalFantasyTCG
Probably will need one more for MTGxFinalFantasy…..

I got into the Final Fantasy: Trading Card Game, because Magic is a gateway drug.

The card art vs MTG is night and day, Wizard of the has high standards. FF: TCG can vary.

However this card, is just amazing. 11/10 no notes. Wizards of the Coast needs to step their game up.

You can take MGS from its creator but you can’t take MGS out of the game.

I bought the fancy deluxe edition which lets you play early. Been busy with work and being sick, so making up for lost time.

I love Sam’s relationship with Lou. In his shelter he’s got all these photos of him and her, he’s a proud father.

BB’s theme is still unmatched in Death Stranding’s score.

Finally some represent for the goodest boy, Torgal. Also Whiteheart is 100000x times cooler name than Ambrosia.

Whiteheart is bad ass, took hit for Clive that everyone thought killed her, lost her eye to said injury. Then protected the citizens and travelers of Martha’s Rest becoming a legend.
