I Watched 6 Hours of DOGE Bro Testimony. Here's What They Had to Say For Themselves The hours of videos provide fascinating, or perhaps horrifying, insight into the thinking of someone inside DOGE.

I have watched 6 hours of a DOGE bro deposition. The whole thing, start to finish. It's a fascinating, and horrifying, look at the people who caused so much damage, didn't really achieve anything at all, while still being so sure they are right. Here's what they said: www.404media.co/i-watched-6-...

As of March 9, ICE has signed 1,511 active 287(g) agreements with local law enforcement in 39 states. That's up from just 135 in January 2025. In a little over a year, the number increased more than 10x.

I found out late last night. I woke up early, cried, grieved with others on the phone. Ugh, that auntie grief shriek wail made me cry again. My wife made pancakes and we napped. I’m going to Santa Fe soon to handle some affairs.

Real conversations with family taught me about life after loss • Source New Mexico I learned about suicide through my young childhood curiosity when I wondered out loud why my mom’s father was never around.

I wrote about their parents and the outcomes their deaths have caused. sourcenm.com/2023/09/12/r...

Still no suspects named in Santa Fe's sole unsolved homicide of year The death of Arthur Loretto, 52, was one of three at the GreenTree Inn on Cerrillos Road this year that involved a victim or suspect who was living there through

I cannot entirely explain why tragedy fills our family history. I know some of the reasons.

But why is it constant? Always there, like a light switch.

In 2021 Paula’s brother Arthur Loretto was killed at a Santa Fe hotel. Still remains unsolved.

Summer memories of running with cousins in Zuni mud — all the weekends I
spent at my Auntie Paula's home on the Zuni Pueblo - return as I read Joseph Lee's book Nothing More of This Land:
Community, Power, and the Search for Indigenous Identity.

A mixture of memoir, reportage and commentary, it documents Lee's family history, describing how land and ancestry forged strong links to his Aquinnah Wampanoag home on Martha's Vineyard. Lee's stories echoed my own rez dirt memories, layers of loving Indigenous relationships with foundations deeper than any historical record.
My mom (white jacket) and her sister (black jacket) Paula Loretto Macon.

My Auntie Paula cried when I shared this article. She loved the memories too, it made her think something happy of her kids, my cousins, who are no longer here. Paula was found dead yesterday in her Santa Fe apartment. Startling that everyone in those memories are gone.

Post image Pictured are 3 DVDs: a double feature of both versions of Footloose, the cover of each showing the characters dancing behind the movie neon font title; Batman Year One, with the Caped Crusader flying in through his own black silhouette-like bat symbol; Angels in America, the two-part HBO production of Tony Kushner's acclaimed play about life in the United States during the AIDS epidemic. The covers of 3 biographies. From left to right: James Wong Howe, The Camera Eye, about the legendary cinematographer; Jim Henson, The Biography, by Brian Jay Jones, the cover showing Henson in his early 40s, with Kermit the Frog perched on one shoulder and Ernie from Sesame Street standing in front of him; the cover of John Cassavetes' Lifeworks is dominated by a blue-tinged black and white photo of the filmmaker holding a 35mm film camera on his shoulder

Picture of DOGE guy Nate Cavanaugh Screenshot of my DOGE letter “Dr. Joseph Rezek
Dear NEH Grantee,
This letter provides notice that the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is terminating your federal grant (Grant Application No. FEL29509824) effective April 3, 2025, in accordance with the termination clause in your Grant Agreement.
Your grant no longer effectuates the agency's needs and priorities and conditions of the Grant
Agreement and is subject to termination due to several reasonable causes, as outlined in 2CFR§200.340.
For instance, NEH has reasonable cause to terminate your grant in light of the fact that the NEH is repurposing its funding allocations in a new direction in furtherance of the President's agenda. The President's February 19, 2025 executive order mandates that the NEH eliminate all non-statutorily required activities and functions. See Commencing the Reduction of the Federal Bureaucracy, E.O. 14217 (Feb. 19, 2025). Your grant's immediate termination is necessary to safeguard the interests of the federal government, including its fiscal priorities. Any objections or appeals to this termination will be managed in strict accordance with the President's Executive Orders,

Last year, this guy (left) from DOGE used ChatGPT to find NEH grants that were too “DEI” for Trump, and canceled them, including mine, as shown by the letter I received last April (right). Huge new NYT article on the back story link below

‘What’s your plan for this pregnancy?’ Comfort, shame and a missed diagnosis For nearly 60 years, crisis pregnancy centers have been a pillar of the anti-abortion movement.

“It felt very predatory to me as a 30-year-old woman that’s married. So I can’t imagine how it would feel to a teen mom or a single mom having to walk in there by herself.”

— Valkyrie Brodt on visiting a pregnancy center.
