28 YEARS LATER: THE BONE TEMPLE - totally blew me away. I enjoyed the first one but this was a massive step up. My fave in the series and has pretty much the greatest sequence I've ever seen in it. My jaw was on the floor. If you can see it blind with no spoilers, trailers or reviews - do it!
Has anyone ever managed to track down the script for ONCE UPON A TIME … IN HOLLYWOOD? Reading Jay Glennie’s incredible ‘making of' book and really keen to follow it up with the script. I guess after THE HATEFUL EIGHT script leak it was kept under lock and key but has anyone had a luck finding it?

Thought it was superb throughout. And episode 5 was just incredible. Some of the best full armoured fighting I've ever seen.

I think the whole scene is total overpowered excess. Through and throughs are particularly cool.
Surely this is a solid contender for greatest blood squibs ever in a movie gunfight? Dread to think how long the reset times were! Also worth noting how effectively backlighting works to show the blood. And what a track!
Rewatching DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE. This is McTiernan at the height of his powers. Impeccable big movie/action direction throughout. This is just about the coolest zoom I've ever seen in a film. The camera op deserves a raise!
Went full media blackout on WEAPONS. Ignored the trailer, the poster, the reviews, everything. Unusually disciplined for me. Saw it totally cold and could not have loved it more! Most fun I've had in a cinema this year. Highly recommended if you haven't seen it yet.
Please let me know how City on Fire looks when you fire it up. Been years since I've seen it.
