Millennial men (aged 30 to 44) are the only male cohort with a net negative approval of Trump.

Looks like we're the men most likely to see through Trump's toxic machismo as women do--as the ignorant, transparent, pathetic, yet still dangerous screams of male insecurity it so obviously is.

Look I feel like I shouldn’t have to say this but if you’re a liberal and the president is like “We are going to detain and deport this guy for protesting” the correct response is not “Protesting what?”

Every poll ever: Harris lost because of the economy and inflation.

Gov. Newsom: The problem is we are too nice to trans people.

Yay! Libby delivered James by Percival Everett! It’s a re-telling of Huck Finn through the eyes of Jim. Especially exciting because I re-read Huck Finn last month.

So far (I’m only in Chapter 2), it’s great, and having fresh memories of Huck Finn definitely helps

Today I was supposed to do 3 CLEs on immigration law, specifically immigration on humanitarian grounds (asylum, convention against torture)

I stopped after the first one. I can’t help think it is inhumane to help people come here right now.

My immigration law career might be over before it starts

It is not nuanced. There aren’t good people on both sides. Putin is evil. Trump and Vance are evil. They all belong on the ash heap of history. I have only slight, delusional, optimistic hope they won’t take us with them.

Zelensky is the good guy. The only disrespect I saw today was towards him.

What Trump is trying to do to Ukraine is a betrayal of them, of all our allies, of the entire rules-based international order, and of the very ideals of Freedom and Democracy.

I hate him so much. I wish he would get pancreatic cancer.

And I’m not much fonder of his lackeys and supporters.

Bannon does an unambiguous Nazi Salute at CPAC: “fight, fight, fight” [salute and smirk] “amen!”

They are fucking Nazis and have long ago worn out any possible benefit of the doubt. They know what they are doing, and are pleased as punch they don’t have to hide it in America anymore.

I've been writing a series of essays for PBS on men whose style I admire. The latest is about James Baldwin, a man who knew how to sing through clothes.

So, in summary: someone made a data entry error, and instead of correcting it, someone just falsified records elsewhere to agree with it. This is a crime btw, called forgery.

We just cannot trust anything from those unaccountable, unelected, ketamine-abusing weirdos and their fake agency says

But then suddenly, the FPDS shows that same contract as $8 billion with a b, to jive with the DOGE number

Here according to the Federal Procurement Data System that contract was only $8 MILLION.

Thread: bad news, everyone. DOGE is just falsifying data now (thanks to that ostensible read-only access they claim to have)

Here is DOGE claiming to have saved $8 billion with a b

For what it's worth, I am an active licensed attorney again. 😬

Catching up on my CLEs, I started one on trans student rights. I couldn't finish it. I was so sad and white-hot angry by how badly our govt & culture treat trans people.

It's inhumane.

I think the Trump administration will defy the court orders. Then contempt, but who enforces contempt? U.S. Marshals under the control of the DOJ. Trump will order them not to enforce it. Then what? I don't know. But any of you MAGA people who claim the constitution is sacred are lying.

It’ll take a while to get to that point, but I expect we will see an unprecedented amount of Rule 11 sanctions against like all of the DOJ in these cases.

Not my practice area either, but I did look up that civil contempt (meant to be coercive, though the distinction from criminal contempt is, of course, murky) has no upper limit on fines. So, say $50 Billion per day? That might be enough for him to at least pay attention?
