I couldn't help but notice all the product placement. I'm sure I'm wrong but in my mind heavy product placement didn't start until later.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind. I hadn't seen this since I was a kid & even then I'm pretty sure I only saw the last part whenever it was on tv. I know it's science fiction but I was expecting it to be a little more serious. The scenes with his family were a little too campy.

Dances With Wolves. I liked it a lot. Surprinting I'd never seen it before.

It's weird how if I had seen this movie when it came out I wouldn't have known most of the references but fast forward to today & I do, thanks to the power of the internet/podcasts

My TV suggested I watch Super Dave. I'd forgotten all about that show. I pressed play & realized Super Dave is Marty Funkhouser. Mind blown.

It would be nice if the big streaming sites played nice with the big streaming devices & placed some sort of reminder/tv guide on the homescreen but that would be too much to ask. They'd rather plaster commercials all over the screen.

I didn't know about this book (or you) back then & just assumed it was out of print. It just so happens that there's another book on that same website that I put on my wishlist but never got around to purchasing. I'm going to grab both & maybe save on some shipping!

Less than one month left in the NBA season means I can finally sign up for League Pass! I tell myself I wait until the last month or else I'll spend too much time watching basketball when I have other stuff to do but really I'm just cheap.
