I’ve still been doing a lot of work on the TTRPG. I have a version that’s in the ballpark of being publicly shareable. It’s still in the alpha, maaaybe beta, stage of development.

Some things seem to work well. Other things are going to need more testing.

No idea how to shrink down the lore…

Both version will probably be stuck in beta hell for a while. Once the rules feel right, each version will get its own release.

Currently plans are Print On Demand via Drive Through RPG as well as a free PDF version.

The beta version is basically a text document, the full version will be fancier.

I do still have plans for the original version. As it was mostly complete when I decided to make a simplified version.

I’m gonna call it the Super 90s Edition or Remastered Edition, or something equally retro and dorky.

The Imperium TTRPG is starting to look functional.

I made a major overhaul of the system. Switching from my original mechanics (loaded with 90s baggage) to a dice pool system.

The switch thinned out the rules a bit, but it feels a bit faster and maybe more fun. Time will tell.

The TTRPG has had a lot of work put into it. Most of the mechanics are sound, I think. The setting has gotten some overhauls (which is going to change a few minor things in the novel).

I’m doing all this for fun, and having lots of fun. So, thats a win for me.

Where are things right now?

The (first) novel is written, but I’ve been procrastinating finalizing it for a while now. I need to finish the 3rd pass on 30/33 chapters. I’m going to pull one chapter (expositional) and replace it with something more relevant.

As such, it’s on track for next year.
