Over 1000 anti racists turned up to support Falkirk Unity March and Rally.

An important minute's silence was held during the march for all victims of sexual violence and assault.

Teachers were promised a 90 minute reduction in class contact time back in 2021. It's nearly 2026 and you're still waiting while your workload increases and pupils miss out.

Dr Patrick Roach pays tribute to former General Secretary Nigel de Gruchy

We are sad to announce that our former General Secretary Nigel de Gruchy has died following a prolonged illness.

Nigel was elected to our National Exec in 1975. He later held the posts of AGS & DGS before being elected as General Secretary in 1990. He held the position until his retirement in 2002.

The Scottish Government needs to honour its promise to teachers to reduce class contact time by 90 minutes.

We're balloting members for industrial action to get you the time you need to do your job.

With the election looming, MSPs must support our collective campaigns to modernise the law and replace the Abortion Act (1967).

Racial inequalities are at a standstill or actively widening.

Always proud to support this event but in a week when some started targeting Primary Schools with their intolerance it was more important than ever. Great turnout from NASUWT members and the wider trade union movement. #RefugeesAreWelcomeHere
