I have my suspicions of what the root cause is but I'll see what the test results are.
I sometimes wish I could've made streaming work more. The reality is I have to work in person and trust in my mask/respirator to protect my current health baseline.
So viewers and friends that tuned in before I stopped streaming this year already knew I was having issues with my throat (mostly vocal chords). The past couple months has been more throat issues, more doctor visits, and more tests.
Still don't know what's going on but hopefully soon.
Respirator sizing is so interesting...Recently tried the Trident Project 3 trifold in small and regular, was basically fully pressed against my face (not comfortable). BreatheTeq small was okay but xsmall sits better for my nose. For the ZimiAir, I prefer the medium frame but the small also works.

If there are mask blocs nearby, you can get various respirators for free! There are DIY air purifiers like the Corsi-Rosenthal box!
Work has been ROUGH but the paycheck has been nice 😅
My disposable income has recently been going toward trying new respirators/masks and continuing to curate my wardrobe!

I truly did not want to continue going on streaming hiatuses. I tried to stream after work but that is no longer possible due to consistent extended hours.
This isn't a full goodbye! More like a "catch you later!" I'll create at my own pace, however slow that is, and stream when I can.
After thinking it over for quite a while, I have started the process to offboard from Twitch's affiliate program.
I will still try to stream as I feel I can. With my current situation, I just do not believe that anyone willing to spend money on a subscription SHOULD be for my channel.

I wasn't planning on buying a new kit AT ALL until the announcement of the Link Split. Trying to stay firm on this being a low-buy year but workflow/content creation related items are slightly more passable.
Interested in the split layout AND using it as a macropad for video editing.
Most likely, annual keyboard build is not happening this year.
Partially for budget reasons. Partially because I will be getting the CannonKeys Link Split Ergo (estimated Q4 delivery) which also necessitates waiting for a uniform keycap set I vibe with.

I overestimated the possibilities of YouTube captions...I applied my skills from when I used to fan-translate/sub videos but those were burnt in. YouTube captions don't allow overlapping lines at different positions. Now I delete most of my work.

If you have any specific questions just lmk! For me, setting up commands and stuff makes a lot more sense because I have a background in coding. UI/UX stuff will always be a little funky with most apps though lol
...should I get around to making MixItUp tutorials?? I've mostly just done one-on-one consultations(?) to match streamer specific requests. I hate the idea of having to script everything BUT if it's helpful to others, I'll do it!
I personally use MixItUp for custom incoming raid messages if that's what you're looking for! You can create and assign a value to specific users, add a conditional to check for that value, and output a chat message or announcement based on that.
