I appreciate it, I think part of the issue is that I use clipping masks whereas Calvin instead just duplicates the watercolor layers until they're solid. Clipping masks will always look stiffer and less watercolor-y (but I prefer them because they're easier to work with and actually solid) 😅

Thank you! 🥰 I had so much fun following that tutorial that I'm considering doing it again - I do see in hindsight that I overblended them a little bit, missing out on some of the cool watercolor texture I love so much in Calvin's work!

I am no longer explaining my chronic illnesses. I'm only ominously referencing them like I'm a fantasy realm NPC dropping plot hooks. I am besieged by my affliction. The ritual was successful, but it has drained me, and I need time to recuperate. I can't do that because of the curse. Dark forces are conspiring within me. I must conserve my strength to battle the Unseen foes assault me. I can not strike back with blows, but I can lessen their influence by consuming certain alchemical rites.

I'm going to use 'I am besieged by the affliction' at my next doctors appointment. 🤣

Well that's a problem because my #chronicillness IS part of my identity. It shapes who I am. Being honest and forthcoming about it is how I cope with it. Buying cute pins and stickers is how I make the best out of a bad situation. Let me cope my way.

It is though! I had to make and keep track of like five appointments and I'm like ??? and they got mad at me when I missed one because I thought it was a day later. I just... Didn't look right 😭

The place I got my #ADHD diagnosis from, the official university hospital of my country, has still not sent the documentation I need to get started on #Ritalin. My new psych is a great guy, says it could take a good month or so. You're asking a person with ADHD to wait for something for A MONTH 😬

It was awkward but I was kinda busy trying to not have a panic attack so I didn't exactly have the mind to ask them to change the station 😅

"Ayo Technology" from Milow. I guess it's sort of a calm song? It was on the radio, the problem is that I have huge dentist anxiety so I tend to focus on literally everything else other than the dentist working on me and I guess I focused on that song really hard 😭

Imagine being #aroace and having the most sexual song stuck in your head for DAYS because you heard it while getting your teeth done at the dentist, where you couldn't escape the lyrics 😤
