Nice! I definitely think I'd turn that eating sound down either way, seems to pop out a bit too much, or maybe do a bit of ducking in the high-mid freqs for that audio file.

More #streaming and #learning #shaders. This is actually harder to do consistently than it might sound, especially once the #adhd hyperfixation drops off. Come keep me company!

It's like #Rider has been listening to my calls with the various producers / managers / ideaguys I've had to deal with over the years in #gamedev when they tell me it's "just" a basic inventory system or "just" simple multiplayer or "just" a small change to the gameplay.

I stopped trying to overengineer. Instead, I focused on the small, useful features. That's when I really started seeing results in #gamedev.

It's common in engineering to get caught thinking about scalability and extensibility; none of that matters if you don't have something to scale or extend.

I’ll go first: you don't need to do everything perfectly to have a valuable game experience.

We're learning #shaders this week. I'm streaming Ben Cloward's shader tutorial series and hopefully it make me better at #gamedev and more technical on the art side.
