Once the alcohol starts to hit Sami starts off as a loud, affectionate, horny drunk and eventually ends up as an eepy drunk
She wanted to be an adventurer. And then she became one and her life turned into hell for a while lol
Anyway I like to imagine this is why Emet-Selch chose to focus much of his time into Garlemald and revolutionizing their technology. The Garlean's inability to use magic reminded him of his friend who he had parted on bad terms with during the Final Days. So that's the impact she indirectly had.
She could also kind of create things for the first time in her life by inventing and assembling new machines. It made her super happy.
Rhea eventually became fascinated with gadgets and machinery when she found out it could help her focus and control her aether better, as well as mold it for her to a degree. She could strike more efficiently and with more precision, reducing collateral damage, but more importantly...
What Rhea COULD do with her massive aether reserves was release it in massive, explosive bursts and augment her physical strikes to superhuman levels. She basically excelled at destruction while her peers were busy creating.
Like in their eyes she could've been an incredibly powerful sorceress or creator of concepts if not for that one major flaw of hers.
(Also "efficient" as in imagine driving a car extremely far on very little gas. Her body got the most out of the smallest mote of aether.) In this sense she was considered kind of a pitiable shame and looked down on by many others.
Rhea (Sami's Azem) was born physically incapable of molding and manipulating complex forms of aether, rendering her incapable of creation magic, let alone casting. But she had massive aether reserves, could generate it quickly, and her use of it was highly efficient (all traits passed down to Sami).
Not exactly a concept since she was essentially incapable of creation magic, but I like to imagine her inability to utilize it did indirectly leave a significant impact on modern day Etheirys. Gonna ramble a bit about it in a thread:
Always imagined Sami lighting the battlefield up in flames with all her firepower and weaponry so I think it suits her perfectly.
Hearing the song's about her turns the violence knob in Sami's head up to 11. Everything WILL be on fire. No kill like overkill. Only ashes will be left. She's laughing.
Small (like her boobs)
She's a washboard
