her wife is desperately trying to raise the funds to prevent this. they have 48 hours before she’s put on a plane and might never be able to return.

It had been hard for me to force myself to get up in the morning, my artistic drive vanished (still recovering) and I missed two weeks of class due to both embarrassment and the pain of getting around.
