The idea that you can’t wait 15 seconds for someone to watch a cutscene just because the content is 7+ years old is impatient and childish. Not everyone has been playing the whole time and successful games like FFXIV always has new players and players still working through content.

Val is incredibly blunt to you the more he doesn’t like you and refuses to pull punches. He’s told Cid that they should have left Nero in the Crystarium right in front of Nero’s face because he was so over listening to him talk.

Val is definitely one of those people who gets underestimated. He’s small in stature for a male Viera so most people assume he’s physically weak only to get thrown or bodied for their incorrect assumption.

Valentin 100% does the angry rabbit foot stomp when he’s mad or really irritated. He does it without thinking and it always unnerves Yaxeh’a.

Val cannot cook. He is incapable of making any more complex than sandwich or a salad. He has tried and tried and tried but it, through some cosmic intervention, goes utterly wrong.
