Nobody: What are you working on?

Me: I'm currently on a project where I combine field recordings of station announcements and platform ambiences from the Berlin S-Bahn into longform ambient tracks with deep drones, rain and subtle synth melodies. Nothing special.

And i finished the cover art.

🎹 Today, I'd like to recommend the dungeon synth album “Old Kings Fall” by Hircine. I found this excellent autumnal album on Bandcamp and fell in love with it immediately. The fantasy - ambient music creates such a relaxed atmosphere. It's a masterpiece.

Natural Cold, by Lehman 8 track album

🎧 Bandcamp introduced me to this wonderful album by Lehmann. It's an excellent mix of cool restraint, with melancholic warm undertones, and dark dreamy landscapes. Melodic winter synth with a keen sense of dungeon synth, the atmosphere could hardly be better.

I absolute understand this - and sometimes there comes a moment when I ask myself how I actually managed to write/produce certain passages. After months or years, my own songs usually sound even better to me than they did when they were released.
