Update: #SMFC has responded to an email enquiry from Outsports, saying the club plans to release a statement “soon” and that a presentation to Andy Brennan will be organised to recognise his “amazing career.”

At time of writing, there’s been no official statement from South thanking Brennan for his service, even though he’s made over 100 appearances for the club and is a hugely popular figure at Lakeside Stadium.

Have invited club to comment. South kick off the new Australian Championship on Friday.

Ramsey Angela on Team LGBTQ at World Athletics Championships - Outsports Dutch sprinter Ramsey Angela was absent from the Paris Olympics but will race in Tokyo, where he won Olympic silver in 2021.

So far, we know of at least 8 out LGBTQ athletes who’ll take part in the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.

Among them is Dutch sprinter Ramsey Angela, who “hates labels” but insists: “Be who you are and don’t be ashamed.”
