It’s almost as if people are just *looking* for a reason to be cranky online. 🤔

Well, at least I know which game gets bumped to the top of my “buy this” list.

My sister sent me this, and now I’m feeling the need for rectangular pizza and corn - one always came with the other. 🧐

💯💯💯 - 300% agree. (Math was never my area.)

A lovely way to say that. A deacon’s call is to bring the concerns of the world to the church. “The church” can forget without that sacramental - sometimes prophetic, sometimes uncomfortable - reminder. Deacons stand in those liminal spaces and have the freedom to lift up/connect/empower.

I keep asking similar questions. ‘What are we saving this for, exactly? To what end?’

I’m guessing you’ve already posted to Forma? (With apologies to people reading this who have no idea what I’m talking about!)

Thankful, thankful, thankful for some time off this past week. Family time, books read, board games played, yarn sorted and culled (!), notes written, food cooked.

East Tennessee. Thumbs up on the cats (5) and boardgames (way more than 5).

I’m alternating between Threads and here, which feels more than a little disjointed. But I find more artists on Threads, and more Episcopeeps here.

FYI - the gluten-free wafers we use are made of potato. Taste exactly like
Pringles, except with no salt. So, you’re not far off!!

And we forget all the time that we’re using words no one understands. So don’t worry about asking, if you’re curious. If you’re thinking, “What the heck is that?” someone else is, too.

I forget how much until it returns every year - but I love Christmas Day Eucharist. We’re all a little tired, but everyone there that day is there for love. Or sorrow. Or both.

Two weeks ago, I fell on the stairs and bruised a rib. The week after that my assistant/chief bulletin wrangler came down with Covid. Just before the first service today, a sound system element blew. I’m not sure what else is planned for Christmas Eve, but it can’t possibly be boring.
