I always loved this one. It hit at the right time when I was just really getting obsessed with music and starting to collect CDs.

This arrived yesterday. It's a shame that there weren't many MD releases from Seattle bands. I think only AIC, Pearl Jam and Screaming Trees. Understandably a lot of labels didn't do MD releases. The band's 3rd full length and sadly the final with Stanley.

Split vaporwave album. Diskette Park brings the smooth jams and chill vibes. Sport3000 sampling more 80s synth pop. This was one of the first few MD albums I picked up and was in heavy rotation during the pandemic.

I've come to expect garage/punk when it comes to Rare Vitamin Records. This was a surprise with its ambient shoegaze vibes. Dug the shit out of it. Rare Vitamin is definitely a mark of quality.

Killer dungeon synth release. One of the only on MD that I'm aware of, which is a real shame. The synth sounds feel like a classic SSI dos rpg, the songs wouldn't feel out of place in Eye Of The Beholder.

Bought this new around the time it came out. Used it nonstop during college. Controversial take but I loved LP4 mode. Having 5 hours of music outweighed the lower audio quality.

Compilation album of songs from the groups first 4 albums. I slept on this band for way too long. It's totally in my wheel house. Wish there were more MD releases.

Totally random purchase as I'd never heard of these dudes before. Real fun and funky. Very eclectic duo with pop, rock, r&b, hip hop & funk all blended. As best as I can tell this was their final album. Weirdly enough their catalog was just added last week to Apple Music.

This was very different from what I expect from Cyndi Lauper. It feels like she's trying to fit in with songwriters of the era. It's got Tori Amos vibes at times. It's a good album just not the quirky Cyndi from the 80s.
