(Top journalism, Ed). Make no mistake, if Britain even exists by next week, we will run this piece again until someone sparks the tinderbox on the brink of the powderkeg that... No one sums up the utter shamelessness of the British press and the ugly politics of Farage quite like Private Eye.

How do you really know if a school is the right fit? And when did you feel ready to take the leap from SLT to headship?

All I can say is for me it was the children, they are all extraordinary but when you meet the ones that make you want to make that leap, you'll know.

Before my school closed our writing was improving because we had invested in books that the children could see and hear themselves in. We talked about the choices the writer made and encouraged the children to be magpies until they found their own voice.
