Incredible work, as always! I can't wait for Monroe and Osprey to get a few more friends (or enemies)!

Time will tell if it's a winner in the jam, but as always it was a great time to be involved with the community and I can't wait for the next one!

The aim of the game is to grow plants inside an orangery, applying the "I Cut, You Choose" mechanic to add a fun layer of strategy and resource management to what would otherwise be mindless botanical scribbling.

Making some custom dice was pretty fun too!

I've worked really hard on the rulebook, and hopefully it shows (it's the most comprehensive rulebook I've ever written - docs.google.com/document/d/1... for the interested, the formatting isn't optimised for mobile) but the gameplay has been fun and the theme is ripe for creativity.

@rivalspiritgames.bsky.social have been running their second game jam, and it's been a blast!

Over the past two weeks I've been working on a cute 1v1 roll & write (roll & draw?) called "The Orangery"!

There's nothing quite like a physical prototype!

This run was made in 2023 ahead of #UKGE for our first ever convention! It was a lot of fun, and we can't wait for the opportunity to go back soon.

I'm still badgering away behind the scenes, so have a couple of #WIP pieces I'm testing ahead of our upcoming relaunch!

Behind the scenes, we're hard at work redesigning the core rules (and aesthetics) of Discovery to ensure we create the best game possible. This includes a full social media relaunch that we're not quite ready to reveal.

Very happy to announce Psychopomp! placed 6th overall in the inaugural @rivalspiritgames.bsky.social game jam.

While it wasn't an out and out winner, it was a wonderful experience which received some incredibly helpful feedback.

Blizzard were very good at making entries in existing genres, and clearly they made space for new genres to emerge, but I find it a little sad that they themselves never had the forethought to explore this new ground, when clearly it was possible from what they made.
