An irregular shaped piece of plain sea pottery lying on fine gravel, a bit of sea weed rests on top
The same piece flipped over to reveal a blue transfer pattern- a wheel and possibly a leg is just visible
#FridayFlip ! I see a wheel and a leg but I have never found the whole pattern - bicycle, wheelbarrow, hand cart? #beachcombing #SeaPottery
27.02.2026 12:27 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0As of tonight, licenses of trans people across Kansas are being invalidated en masse, enabling the overnight criminalization of an entire group of people for going about our lives. Itβs often said you never know when youβre living through history, so let me assure you: thatβs whatβs happening now.

#WednesdayWin canβt beat a (non-fake) smartie lid! As it is smaller sized but capital letter itβs probably mid 60s to mid 70s - older than me!

My bad, itβs margaritifera not mytilidae - itβs a freshwater mussel, the sort you get pearls from! No idea if they are called clams elsewhere. We do also have the common blue/black seawater mussels.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margari...
A large young mushroom emerges from thick moss and tiny plants. Its stipe is a bit roughly textured and is about two inches long and one inch wide. The cap, which is just as tall as the stipe but is more bell-shaped, is bright red and has small yellow-white popcorn-like patches (i.e., warts) all over it.
I love the way Amanita muscaria looks when its surrounded by green π±πΏπ
