Yup!! While we do post on WT (hence this whole debacle) it was mostly to gain a larger reach because frankly we’re new in the game and getting eyes on a website is hard. That said I am thankful for our website - now to get it the traffic!

They finally told me but it was…laughable given they also wanted a Mature rating. But the amount of censorship…may as well just market it as Young Adult.

Their concept of Mature is closer to the PG than PG-13/R or at least when it comes to our comic. 😅

Thanks! Yeah I think WT was being absolutely more harsh than needed - but I swapped to Mature rating there in the hopes they’ll leave me alone.

But yeah uhhhh that episode was fairly safe in my opinion and their own rating system marked us as YA. And Ch1 gets plenty spicy later. 🤣

Hell yeah! It’s a worthwhile pursuit. I was there about 4 years back - practicing drawing so I could bring my stories to life as comics. You can do it!!

That sounds lovely. It’s been disappointing seeing a lot of platforms fail those goals. But that is kind of why standalone webcomic sites and web rings have always been my preference - but I do miss the convenience of audience access which WT has a monopoly on.

It’s truly just theatre and means almost nothing if they don’t like you.

Thissssssss. It’s bizarre how they look the other way. I don’t mind being labeled mature but maybe they should adjust their rating system so it makes sense?

Hence why I put the warning myself. If they had issue with the content being mature just change my rating and leave the episode up.

It’s funny because I actually updated before launch and based on my answers WT listed it as Young Adult. Their lil rating system is flawed if you don’t have any cursing or detailed blood and gore. I was at 3 for nudity and 2 for everything else. They should just fix their system
