This is Brooklyn at the intersection of Waters and Washington Street looking at the Manhattan Bridge. It’s a popular spot in Dumbo, so I always recommend going early in the morning in the middle of the week to avoid crowds.

Nice! I shouldn’t be surprised this door is so easily recognizable. It was stunning when I happened on it.

A magnificent burgundy red church door with ornate gold circular medallions arranged in a 3x5 grid. The door is framed by an elaborately carved stone archway featuring intricate Romanesque or Gothic-style decorative patterns with twisted columns on each side. Above the door, the Latin inscription "CHRISTUS REGNAT" (Christ Reigns) is carved into the stone. The tympanum above contains a detailed stone relief sculpture depicting a central enthroned figure (likely Christ) flanked by two angels. The entire entrance is a stunning example of ecclesiastical architecture, with the rich red door creating a striking contrast against the pale, intricately carved stonework surrounding it.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I wish I remembered where this door was. Somewhere on the lower east side of Midtown. I found it after wandering around heading downtown from a shoot in Grand Central.

This follows a pattern I feel most are familiar with, so it’s a 👍 from me. I can’t imagine the hassle it would be to try to either dynamically adjust or settle on a worse experience for some photos but not others in the carousel. Only thing that could change is if it popped out into a new modal.
