17 days ago we adopted our puppy Petey from our local shelter. He was a stray found on the streets who runs holding his back right leg up as if injured. He is around 1 year old and full of spunk! My profile is full of his photos now :)

Petey punished me for taking him to the groomer by peeing in the house after 5 days of no accidents. Fingers crossed it was a fluke. I was almost ready to remove the plastic and sheets from the carpets! Now I will leave them.

Haha yes, he definitely hated grooming. He had to be muzzled. We have a long way to go with his behaviors. Lot of spunk, lot of defiance, and a lot of puppy still in him.
I have had to spend all my time downstairs with Petey, trying to mold his behavior. He is a little ball of constant mischief! I have had no time to lounge at my computer or do starter packs since we adopted him on the 13th. He is spunky and defiant and needs a lot of work. Good thing he's cute!

Petey wore himself out! He’s doing amazing. I’ve been using positive reinforcement treats to reward quietness, pottying outside and chewing on toys instead of me. He had a blast tearing up a Dr. Pepper box 😁
