My husband, @shutupmrrogers.bsky.social and I enjoyed a beautiful October weekend farm barbecue/picnic. Good food and live music, seeing old and making new friends.

We both really enjoyed it. It is almost three hours long. Got 97% on Rotten Tomatoes.

My husband, @clarkrogers.bsky.social has initiated “date afternoons” so we can have a relaxed afternoon date and still get home for regular animal feeding and evening farm chores. Today it was a movie and dinner. We saw the Taiwanese film “Yi Yi” and then went to a Chinese buffet restaurant.

My handsome husband went to Sweetwater and didn’t bring me back any Bit-O-Honey’s ! 😩

Despite barking dogs and pesky late-summer flies, Hector enjoyed an afternoon grazing around the barnyard. His tail is a bit strange as I had to trim some of it off. He came to the farm with a couple of very tangled dreadlock hunks in it. I tried detangling products and brushing but to no avail.

It’s flannel shirt weather. My husband, @clarkrogers.bsky.social with our dogs, Atlas and Ullr.

It’s a premade crust, baked and cooled. Then put a single layer of sliced banana lining bottom & sides of crust. Then fill with instant vanilla pudding and chill until set. Top with whipped cream. As the pie sets in refrigerator overnight, the pudding absorbs the banana flavor.

I made an “easy recipe” banana cream pie. My husband, @clarkrogers.bsky.social loves topping, so I let him cream my pie.

Corn is high, nobody’s around. Come along back with me and let’s see what we can get into.
