My current murder mystery obsession recently led to me reading The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle, a time loop murder mystery by Stuart Turton. It’s such a fantastically complicated book and I decided to make art of it (and a little cover mockup!)

I’m doing a bit of a social media detox for lent. Recently I’ve felt very overstimulated and overwhelmed by the internet, and I’m hoping that taking a step back for a bit will help me focus more on what’s important and allow me to spend more time making art.

I finally finished this drawing of my paladin character Amaryllis! I’d originally wanted to try to finish it before the campaign started a couple months ago, but I’m glad I took more time to polish it up.

Yesterday while I was half-asleep and flu-plagued I thought of a cool story concept only to realize several hours later that it’s just the plot of kung fu panda

They then unironically say, “Look at how good my sandwich is” while holding a pile of mush. Your first thought is probably something like “Ew, that’s disgusting” or “Hey, you stole my cheese,” but you might also say, “Hey man, why can’t you just *make a sandwich* like a normal person?” 2/2

Thought of a good metaphor for ai last night:
You’re having a picnic with friends. One person, instead of taking out a sandwich, steals pieces of everyone else’s sandwiches and throws it in a strange contraption that chews it up and spits out something *vaguely* sandwich-shaped. 1/2

I think I’m going to try to be more active on social media this year. I’ve had the mentality of “I wish not to be perceived” on the internet for so long, but unfortunately that doesn’t help when trying to find an audience for your art

I need to stop spending so much time thinking about big projects like a webcomic, illustrating my friends’ ttrpg, or too many animation ideas, and instead just finish some current projects. Because as much as I wish it would, Hypothetical Future Project™️ isn’t going to improve my portfolio right now

I rewatched Over the Garden Wall recently and wanted to draw something based on it, especially the last few episodes which are so dramatic and haunting.
I drew this yesterday but it’s pretty appropriate because today has been a snowy Halloween!
