Something can always be better

Shooting underwater sometimes feels more fun than the image that I create. A while back I did a show where I let my patrons be the photographer with a choreographed underwater show above them.

Went to the pet store to get some dog food. I didn’t appreciate this guy giving me the side eye.

We’ve built an amazing platform to ingest 2 billion ocean data points per day and analyse them with AI to solve some our biggest challenges. When I fly over the ocean I’m suddenly overwhelmed by how big the ocean is and how we as humans have ruined it in such a small amount of time.

Last year I raised a little friends and family round to build out what I call “the Fitbit for the ocean”. Since that time we have built an AI platform that can ingest 2 billion data points per day. This blue carbon market is $41 tn per year. We are well positioned to provide needed insights.

The Great Barrier Reef was the first place I dived over 25 years ago and it still keeps me coming back. This was taken from a Cessna 183 flying 3 hours over water to one of my absolute favorite islands. It was there that I became obsessed with using art to protest the ocean.

Agreed. Reminds me of early days clubhouse.

It’s a similar experience when clubhouse was early and invite only. Your name was always on who you brought in so people acted respectful. Maybe that’s what’s happening here.

Recently yes! I’m an active Explorer’s Club member and I’ve been impressed with their support of exploration over the years. Not to mention it’s owned by a nonprofit.

As my very first post, I felt it was appropriate to have something to do with the sky. It’s a lot harder for a guy who photographs mostly underwater.  here is a healthy mix of the two.
