He is religious, yes, but hardly pushing it. He unlike the evangelicals, believes strongly in the separation of church and state. He's not a party over country politician like his other counterparts on the side of the aisle. Jasmine will not disappear. Id rather have him than a republican.

I agree, and recent events have given me a bit of hope . If she won the nom and won. Id be first in line celebrating. Those guys in the senate would be running scared because she would not ,when they go low,we go high. She would eviserate them.

I was not aware of the two women being elected in the senate in 2024. And you could have used that example instead of beto to prove your point. I stand corrected. But those wins are in blue states. It would be much harder for a black woman to win deep red Texas.

2/ when they said that trump would do all the things he is now doing, No one believed them, because if he was, he would have already been in jail long before the election. Merrick took his sweet time and allowed trump and his cronies to delay and postpone till he could run.

1/ Im not a scholar, but i think the reason she lost was more than simple racism or that she was a woman . It was the fact that they moved too slowly when it came to trump. If your house is 🔥, you don't take 2 years to put it out. You grab a hose and you douse that sucker immediately...
