Apart from everything else about this - its a stupid thing to patent. Theres nothing technical novel about this, and its not a new idea for an application either. It would never be enforceable.
That black mirror episode would be enough to overturn it. Famously the patent for geostationary communication satellites was overturned because scifi had described it 15 years earlier.

That this will do nothing really highlights the invidious, and incoherent, state of immigration discourse in the UK. Were the numbers the other way round, it'd be a damning indictment of integration and proof that foreigners leech off the system. Now it'll just be "British workers left behind!!".
