For context, Carlos Palomino was a 16 year old antifascist, stabbed in the heart by a Nazi soldier in Madrid while on his way to oppose a fascist demonstration.

As I translate @miquelramos.bsky.social book on post-Franco antifascism in "Spain," I'm struck by how relevant & timely everything continues to be. The above is in ref. to the debate following the Nazi murder of Carlos, but applies 1-1 to the current criminalization of antifascism in general.
