As someone who has had to hire, I've chosen artists with weaker skills but good attitudes knowing they could grow into the role with investment rather than picking someone extremely good who acted like an abrasive asshole. It only takes one person with a garbage attitude to hurt a team.

A slightly more difficult thing is to practice thinking people don't deserve to be made to feel shit, and as you also count as people, you don't deserve to feel shit. Kindness to yourself is very hard, but you deserve it! Say something you have done well before (like your art) out loud today 💜
