Slightly disappointed that the new Space Precinct Blu-Ray is AI-upscaled, might be Topaz Video AI. I recognise the AI upscaling patterns and the strange sharp straight lines from the blinds and mess-up of badges in this example.
It's not a bad upscale, just wish it was a completely new film scan. 😞

After the potential overheating cables, lack of PhysX 32bit compatability and now defective chips, I'm more and more glad I got my 4090 when I did.

This is to accommodate the global remote team, so we have more crossover hours. Don't think it's a deal breaker, but would certainly help any application a lot, especially if hours can be shifted to accommodate.

SSDs we're a great standardisation with current gen consoles. But in terms of hardware, we need better real time raytracing than the current, and it would also be nice to do true 4K/60 min.

New consoles generally need a bunch of launch titles, which means new investment into games, hardware, studios and therefore jobs.

The mantra "Survive until '25" had been spoken about in the VFX industry, which has been on its knees as of late. But I think most creative industries won't *start* to improve until at least '26. I do hope I'm wrong.
For the game industry, next-gen games consoles can't come soon enough.

When will the layoffs end 😭
