Disappointing, sure, but also a reminder of how much I learned stepping back into interviews after 33 years. Sharper, more prepared, and moving forward.

Hard to believe Sammich has been open since 2017 (PDX location) and this was somehow my first visit. Possibly the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten.

Ace Frehley was one of my first heroes. The silver boots, the smoke, the swagger; he made rock feel larger than life. For a kid with a cheap guitar, that was enough to dream big.
