"it's a sad truth" i know a man now, sort of. [linkedin comment about how creative work is hard to monetize these days and it isn't due to ai stealing it] i knew a boy once. i would have torn down the stars for him, if he'd asked. he called me on a warm spring night, when we were seventeen.

he'd done a solo act at a school theatre production. they'd laughed. jeered. said he was pretentious. i did not know how to console him.

the sound of his breathing was a fatally wounded animal, raspy and wet. i remember. some other asshole: artists and laypeople are so incurious. they just don't get how ai works [technical jargon]

i feel like my compassion is being wasted on people like him, who grew up to post pedantic comments on linkedin about how ai is fine, actually, and everyone acting like a luddite* is out of touch *the luddites were actually extremely badass. see blood in the machine by bryan merchant for more. middle finger: FUCK ALL OF YOU! DIE! - every single part of me. every single part. except that teenager. sometimes i want to strangle the softness from her heart before it broke again and again and again for him.

▶️ Creating an Art Feed + Advanced Tips!

This #tutorial is based on SkyFeed v0.10.0 and is for artists setting up personalized Art Feeds on BlueSky. I used this guide as a basis (kai-blueskytips.carrd.co#one) and added some additional tips! All images have alt text for full context.

My headcanon of archons delivering visions themselves for a random reason is still the funniest thing to me and nothing can change my mind

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024 By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1 For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1) And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!
