I recently learned about the “afterthought heel” which is using waste yarn to mark the heel and pick it up afterwards instead of turning the heel. It felt like the socks worked up faster not having to stop for the heel. Of course now I have to go back to add them!

The other day my husband is trying to explain how he is using chatgpt and the whole time I felt like, “Wow, I don’t want to learn this stuff right now.”

And it hit me.

It’s not that you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. It’s that old dogs are too tired to want to learn them.
