15.02.2026 15:39 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Oh look at you, went to all that trouble to make gifs and all.You really are upset about ’gurning’ or whatever the hell you call it 😂. It’s ok, the competition is all done and the expressions can’t hurt you anymore.

12.02.2026 12:29 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Again, guessing you don’t watch a lot of dance forms. Oh the horror of making expressions to tell a story. Flat expression-less faces and vacant smiles for everyone!
12.02.2026 12:24 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0It’s called expressive dancing and it’s what sells the story they are trying to tell. Guessing you’re not much of an enjoyer of ballet or other forms of dance.
12.02.2026 12:19 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0My daughter ’shops’ my closet from the 90s. Not even designer brands but old mid market retailers like J Crew had better quality materials and tailoring.

09.02.2026 12:34 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0They have a choice, is the point. They choose to buy that stuff. Food here is cheap, much cheaper than the UK and I was there over Christmas looking at your prices. We are not some nanny state. If you want to shop at Aldi, you can buy cheap good bread. It’s on you if you prefer the sugary stuff
09.02.2026 12:32 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Here’s the thing, you have choices. You don’t have to buy that sort of bread if you don’t want to. Regular supermarkets have commercially available good brands with limited ingredients. And the cheaper stuff if you want it. You don’t have to buy bad chocolate either. There’s better brands everywhere
09.02.2026 12:16 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0There’s plenty of choices in the supermarket contrary to the propaganda you have been told. There’s cheaper options which are shelf stable and there are PLENTY of good options with limited ingredients. And those are available in regular supermarkets across the country

09.02.2026 01:35 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0There you all go again. You think the whole country is the same? You really need to see what this country's food is really like. My local bakery has better bread than anything I ate in France, baked in-house.Any BBQ place in Texas has better baked beans than something out of a Heinz tin.

08.02.2026 18:39 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0There are cheeses specific to America: Monterey Jack, Colby, Humboldt Fog, Teleme, Liederkranz, Cougar Gold, Pinconning, the famous Wisconsin cheese curds in addition to European varieties. My local supermarket has an entire section devoted to them with someone making fresh mozzarella daily
08.02.2026 18:37 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Just pointing out what seems normal to you may not seem normal to other people. PB&J is a beloved institution in the US. It’s the sandwich you make after school, it’s what you pack for the soccer team snack rotation. American football teams eat it at halftime
08.02.2026 18:26 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0Not a fan of Bovril. Had to drink Bovril ’tea’ every night because I was a skinny kid and my mother was convinced it would fortify me in some way.
08.02.2026 18:21 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0And btw, my favorite thing to eat on toast (and on crumpets)is Marmite with lots of butter ofc because I grew up eating that.I have raised my very American daughter on the stuff.
08.02.2026 18:14 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I have. Sunday night supper in boarding school. Properly seasoned or not, it’s pretty gross and yes it was Heinz baked beans. You also have no idea how good proper cheese is in the US. You’re confusing the packaged shelf stable stuff with the actual good varieties of artisanal cheese available.
08.02.2026 18:07 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0You seemed puzzled why peanut butter and jam could be compared to beans on toast
