They are people with pretty voices who cannot write or perform a good pop song.Her strength is as a lyricist and her voice is ok but does the job. The Beatles weren’t particularly good singers either but you wouldn't want to hear an opera trained singer actually sing any of their music ( I don’t).

As much as I like Folklore/ Evermore, they’re a snooze fest on a big stage. It’s her big pop hits with the choreography that really hit big on that stage. They were also her east sold records.

Evermore was her biggest writing flex in that she took Aaron Dessner’s wackiest experimental tracks and music out of it. I loved both the albums because she’s such a good storyteller. I wish she’d do more of that but I think she uses her music as therapy to wear through her feelings.
