Thrilled about the unanimous vote at Regional Council last night
Thanks Councillors @lauraip.bsky.social & Morocco for moving and @niagararegion.bsky.social for unanimously endorsing the Code of Conduct to Prevent Human Trafficking tonight!
The Code provides strategies to develop a zero-tolerance approach to Human Trafficking in the #NiagaraRegion.
Today, this guy turns TWENTY
I won't get into all the ways he is the most wonderful son, big brother to his soon-to-be 18yo sibling, and all around outstanding human
Instead, I will tell you that, yes, he peed in that helmet that his dad thought it would be hilarious to put him in

My son and I voted at the Returning Office yesterday, and - even with a change of address required for me and him being added to the voting register for the first
As far as weather goes in February, it's an excellent day to go vote with a temperature of 5 degrees and some sunshine this afternoon.
The Returning Office is open for voting today from 10am to 8pm and tomorrow from 10am to 6pm.
For the St. Catharines riding, the Returning Office is located
More than anything, though, just vote. Please. This election was called in February because Ford doesn't want you to vote. He knows that people are less likely to vote in bad weather (this is actually true), and he's counting on you not voting.

to hold him and his party to account. We can't have any more years of this.
If you're not strongly tied to a party, I implore you to have a look at the individual candidates in St. Catharines. Look at what each of them has done for their community - in their roles
Furthermore, the party has released a fully costed platform that I can get on board with. (See photos on this thread, and here's the link: ontarioliberal.ca/.../A-Plan-t...
In my various roles in the community, I have seen the impacts of the last seven years under Ford and how little has been done
It is my opinion that she is the most intelligent of the three candidates; that she best understands the issues our city is facing; that she is most likely to actually get meaningful things done for St. Catharines; and I have seen her work very well with people, regardless their political views.
24.02.2025 18:43 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I understand this surprise, so let me explain.
Having worked, in some capacity, with all three of the main candidates running in St. Catharines, I believe very strongly that Robin McPherson for STC is - without any question - the most qualified of the three candidates.
When it comes to party politics, it is said that individual candidates have only about 10% influence over the election results in their riding.
In the last month, people have asked why I am managing a Liberal campaign or expressed surprise about me managing a Liberal campaign.
My seat mate at Council since December 2018, Diana Huson, has resigned from Council to pursue an exciting opportunity, and I'm going to miss her terribly
