Haunting my own house
Oh, yeah, that’s definitely the first one on the list! I should have been more specific—I’m wondering if there are other places that are open to visitors year-round.
@newmexiconomad.com Do you have any recommendations for places to visit related to NM’s nuclear history?
People who oppose abortion are not “pro-life,” they’re antiabortionists and the don’t give a shit about life, they only care about control.
He literally contradicts his own central arguments with historical facts that HE CHOSE to cite. It’s illustrative of the mental gymnastics these bozos have to perform on a daily basis just to maintain a sense of self.
I read a “history” of abortion by an antiabortionist & all I can say is if a 1st year graduate student can spot the ahistorical, revisionist bullshit, this guy must’ve been the laughing stock of his peers. No wonder there isn’t a single review of his work in academic journals.
Wow yes wow this is so me haha man I am such a fascinating individual with such perfect taste look at this graphic haha it is literally me #spotifywrapped
We’re cooked.
This is absolutely horrific. Porsha’s experience reads almost exactly like an early to mid twentieth century account of a botched illegal abortion. It was these atrocities that lead to the legalization of abortion in the first place. As a society, we should be afraid and more than that, outraged.
Okay, I told myself I was going to keep this account history-focused, but alas, I am a mere fool of a woman who yearns for a shred of validation 🌝 🖤
Oh wow, this gave me such a pang of nostalgia! Not for the 1950s, but for Edinburgh. It’s such a beautiful city.
Prediction: there will be another rubella epidemic increasing the risk of congenital disabilities and the right will walk back their anti-abortion stance because their lack of tolerance for differently-abled & disabled people rivals their hatred of women.
This was my answer too! ❤️
The Fall (2006)
People who believe that abortion will end just because it is made illegal need to read even just *one* history book that has a section on ancient Egyptian medical texts or medieval midwifery.
I bet Pedro & Ripley would be fast friends—she’s snuggled up next to the heater near my desk right now! 🥰

Hi BlueSky 🌝 Just another “other site” ex pat. I’m in graduate school studying American history with a focus on women and gender. I sell vintage clothing & have two chihuahua housemates. I love all things odd—horror (not slashers), true crime, Lepidoptera, owls, music & so much more. Let’s connect!
