Valuable read. The thing about imposter syndrome is that it convinces you that you’re the only person that feels that way. That everyone else must be so calm and capable. It’s so important to realize how even the most accoladed person can feel the very same way.

Just updated my artist/writer CV. So many gaps in time 😩 I was definitely -creating- in that time, but I was just too scared/lazy to actually put my work out there.

I appreciate that this blog underscores the trial and error of writing. Sometimes things don’t work out right away and we have to set them aside, but that doesn’t mean we can’t go back to them. Gives me hope for some of my “abandoned” works!

Authors, does anyone feel like your story ISN'T the Next Big Thing? Like it's a good story, but it's not the greatest thing ever. I think this is a lack of confidence rather than a lack of skill, but it's like.. should I even bother submitting if it's not Amazing?
