That's fine then, FP will protect your HP and will prevent dismemberment. But then why use both systems? Is it necessary?

Besides, wfrp is a bit more derived from the kind of fiction I was referring to than with what I was euphemistically referring to as 'the big HP game': Dungeons and Dragons™️.

It's not really how it works in the fiction that the big HP game is trying to emulate. Conan gets cut up but never maimed or mutilated. I think of HP as Hero Points: how much the narrative believes a character should live or die. Like, action heroes in films get shot and stabbed but keep on fighting

2. Whoops, 7 ideas, too many for a d6 - a d8 table it is.
3. Oh dear, more ideas, maybe a d12?
4. Now look what you've done, that's too many entries. Better crank it up to a d20...
