it's been a while since I played it, but I did play 64 again a couple times through in January, and yeah there's no topping it lol

Im glad we at least have the option to switch to 3rd person for Grace's sections cause it makes it feel a little more like RE2 remake than 7
She's a little more capable than Ashley, so while there are sections where you have to skirt bigger baddies, she can take some down!

Also this dude looked like he was gonna be super campy in trailers, but the understated performance is working for me, even with his kooky design (to be clear I love how he looks, VERY Resident Evil)

Lighting in this game really carries
Love (hate) how dark it gets in rooms with no light source haha
Impressed with the character models and animations
I thought MH Wilds cutscenes looked great, despite the games tech flaws, but Requiemn feels like it's on another level

I guess a whole game of insane Leon antics would feel too overboard (RE6?) But I can't say for sure if this game doesnt do that too, I just started haha

God damn the second you get control of Leon the game becomes cool as shit (aka the Grace parts are too scary and now I feel much better 😎)

It really doesn't feel too different than a Dark Souls in retrospect, but It's the game that has the most compelling world and cohesive design, and that makes it very memorable

yeah the recent MGS collections are still using their ports essentially lol
but yeah the shiny new DeS remake helps sell consoles I guess

ZA is the game I've put the most hours into on my Switch 2 so far

Yeah I guess you can play without sound and throw some tunes on, but the chatter is like a good part of the fun of these games for me haha
