Always really good timing of gags and joke delivery, it's a rare thing in games

It needed to hit some Odyssey Kingdoms level of memorable and creative locations/music
I shouldn't be thinking of the Goron city in the Tempest layer, I don't think that's the vibe for this game idk

Yeah the only earworm for me is zebra bananza, and well.. some late game stuff
Without going spoiler-y, the tone of the game overall takes a hard shift at the very end
Prior to that, it feels like it's going for BotW, even in the music
There's some cool ambient stuff tho, like the sinkhole track

I was excited for how the Odyssey team could re-interpret DK, but damn do they really show reverance for the Rareware era
Such a great bringing together of new and old

The special move better be all his sick stunts 🔥

Definitely check the demo out! I think it's available everywhere
I wanna try it on PC for the better resolution haha
Seems there's no Switch 2 version, so the Switch 1 resolution didn't hold up super nice

I liked it alot more than I was expecting! It really nails the top-down Zelda formula
The Fairies powers are pretty cool too, I can see alot of intersting puzzle solutions with the warp ability

I played the demo for Ninja Gaiden Ragebound a while back, but it wasn't doing it for me like this one
It's a little crunchy looking on Switch, may opt to grab it for the Deck

Adventures of Elliot feels way more like a Square Enix top-down Zelda than I was anticipating
Honestly it makes me want an HD-2D LttP haha
But it's pretty solid
I like the Octopath games, but this game has my interest more than OP 0
I'm glad they are doing more than just RPGs in this style

Yeah there's some really nice touches
I love the animations when you use the Ninjutsu abilities

I got about an hour out of it? I think there was more I could have explored, but I sort of mainlined it
Found a few caves and "shrines" along the way to the first dungeon
