It can be worse. I’ve heard of people “reading” books by having ChatGPT summarise each chapter down to 3 or 4 paragraphs so they can read a book in under a day. Who knows if what they got from that had any actual similarities with the actual novel?

What I mainly remember from it are two things: the mirror scene in the ballroom and the fact it takes about 84 years between the bell starting to strike midnight and it actually reaching midnight just so the final action scene can play out 😄

it also taught me that no matter what your character is good at, by the end you better learn to fight because in the end, the money runs out and everything just becomes a big brawl. Hopefully, not a lesson I'll need to apply in real life 😂

Well, Wilkin came to the castle to play but ended up eating lots of food, saying all sorts of random things and apparently not once knowing what was actually going on around him. He made it pretty far given he seemed to not have any game plan *at all* 😂 #TraitorsIrl

Up until now Oyin had been one of the best Faithfuls the franchise has ever seen but now the OG traitors are gone she’s lost her certainty about who to go for and also apparently forgot and denied whole conversations that were *broadcast on national tv* so she’s really losing her edge #TraitorsIrl

Fair enough. It always seemed a bit crap to me though, what with a final act villain in AC 3 showing up who had only ever been mentioned in comics, and the entire Juno plot line from the games immediately after AC 3 being jettisoned from the games and only getting closure in comics.

Has the AC series ever done trans media well? It seems to be mainly novels that don’t matter to the overall plot at all, or the opposite extreme of villains showing up out of nowhere if you haven’t read the comics, or major plot lines dropped by the games to be resolved purely in comics.
