We're not yet at the point when it gets dark outside at 3 pm, but we're not far off either.
Not that the sun was ever visible these last days. But technically, the sun sets at 4:30 pm today.

And we did just that :D

I frequently get the weirdest (& cutely confused) comments by people who compare my writing style in my two AO3 works.

I'm a self-taught author. I taught myself how to tell a story & how to do so in a foreign language.
That means there's an obvious development, and yes, the beginnings are cringy.

Since I'm stuck in one, let's have a giggle at the word 'traffic jam' and how it makes me think of fruit spreads.

Spoiling the audience sounds like a good idea ♡
It's just that I'm worried it'll take me a long time to write the next chapter.
Anyway, let's see first how it'll go this weekend.

I have high hopes of finishing the next chapter of #theNumber3 this weekend!

Though, considering it sometimes takes me months (we don't talk about that one whole year) to write a new one, maybe I should wait a bit with posting?

With the next chapter we're gonna reach and demolish the 100,000 words goal for #theNumber3

(So now the story is about a third of my other work... XD )

At some point, we might get the slightly more complex story of the rich male lead who bullies the poor female lead, but still gets into uni because he just buys his way in. But then BAM surprise something happens and only the female lead can teach him the ways of normal people. Cue love 🙄

Props to Korea for banning school bullies from uni despite perfect grades, but you do realise there's now gonna be a Kdrama about this?

How about major bully gets rejected, loses everything, but then BAM turnaround with the help of their former victim. They become a better person & ofc find love. 🙄

Is it courtier or courtee or..?
The person courting actively (courtier) versus the person being courted (courtee).
My mind keeps comparing it to employer and employee, as in the spelling.

But I think I got that right.

Anyone else feel like they weren’t really present for most of their life?

Obviously that's my inner historian speaking. Lineage to me is only important for historical or maybe medical reasons. It shouldn't actually matter whose child you are biologically, because you are an individual.

You might've noticed that I tend to criticise patriarchal systems in my stories.
Apart from it just being ridiculous to prefer one over the other, following maternal lineage just makes more sense.
You can be sure about who gave birth to the kid. You can't always be sure about who fathered it.(1/2)

Next chapter of #theNumber3 will be two-fold. As in, we are going to switch between POVs.
The parts of the twins are done now, Harry's are like 50% there.

Today another wall of fog came down, but by late midday the sun had dissolved most of it, and the sky turned such a pretty blue.

I'm gonna pretend the dementors have stopped breeding now.

Went to one of the local museums for a guided tour. We were the only two participants, and I felt like I was back in uni.
It was great!
Realised I forgot more of my studies than I took away from those years 🙃

It's not uncommon to have 100% humidity here, but fog like that just staying the WHOLE day? Yea no.
Never saw the sun either Ouq

Woke up to thick fog close to the ground. Like walking into a wall of stationary rain.
Rode and walked to work through thick fog, went grocery shopping in a bit lighter fog, and went home when it came back down thick again.

Thanks to an ambitious mosquito, I was up very early, at work very early, and am going to leave especially early.
